Two additions (totaling 100,000 SF) provide ample maintenance and warehouse space to accommodate all of the largest vehicles the National Guard has in their arsenal.
Features of the Building
DC Building Systems Inc. was a major subcontractor on this phase of the expansion of the Maneuver Area Training Equipment Site (MATES) Phase II. The maintenance facility features a large bay equipped with an overhead bridge crane, a secondary maintenance area that also functions as an open classroom, along with a large warehouse that included an area to stage equipment for deployments and contacted a Class V concrete vault for small weapons and missile storage. DC Building Systems performed the placement and finishing of the concrete slabs on grade along with furnishing and installing the metal siding and trim work.
